Final Touches

Our final project is due next week! This has been a very stressful time period for me, with the juggling of the film opening, my other school classes, and relationship/personal issues. I have been completely open with my teammates on how hard this era was, and they have been nothing but supportive. I appreciate everything they have done for me and the time they have allowed me to give myself. I needed to disconnect to reconnect. But, in this final week, I really pushed myself to give the team my all. We had issues exporting the film, as it was turning out pixelated or the sounds were not lining up. This is what ate up a majority of our week. It felt like a really big blow, as we had finally finished our piece and were quite proud of the effort we put in, and we couldn't access or share the final copy. We sought help from Olivia's previous coworkers and they helped us finally export our project. We decided to host a little viewing party for our families and close friends as a way to commemorate the end of our partnership. If I have learned anything from this experience, it is that communication and teamwork is key. Patience, collaboration, and how you handle setbacks shapes your outcomes. I am glad that my team has been able to lean on each other and be adaptable while celebrating our victories, both big and small!
