In this post, I am showcasing my assigned project to apply what I have learned in class this week about various camera angles/shots and the effect they have on the viewers. I was tasked to complete 11 different types of shots from low to high, close to far, and even canted to over the shoulder.
I was quite excited for this project as it allotted me with creative freedom and was honestly quite fun. To plan for my shots, I first watched a few videos provided by my amazing teacher on the different camera shots and viewed some examples from films. Then, I teamed up with my classmate to get the pictures done. In my experience, we had a great time completing the assignment and there was many laughs shared. Although the pictures are not the same quality as the films I viewed, I do feel I recreated the techniques quite efficiently.
